The Mount Fuji Illustrated Scrolls are a pictorial work that visualizes the myths and legends associated with Mt. Fuji, Japan’s most iconic mountain. Hōraku Nakamura also produced many portraits of the characters depicted in these scrolls.

The Man Who Traversed the Stars is a series of paintings by Hōraku Nakamura that vividly depict scenes from a story sharing the same title. This small collection, comprising watercolor, acrylic, and pen drawings, includes more than 50 artworks, each portraying scenes as experienced by a man who left Earth to journey to another planet. The stories and worldviews crafted alongside these images are also preserved in written text, with plans for future publication.
